
Daniel M. Barton, D.D.S.
Dr. Barton was born in Alexandria, Virginia, but his family moved to Virginia Beach in 1978. He graduated from First Colonial High School and from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Service Administration. Dr. Barton recently graduated from the Medical College of Virginia with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He is honored to be a part of the first class team here at the Beach Dental Center.
Dr. Barton enjoys helping and teaching people of all ages. On his summers off from college, he taught swim lessons to children. While at JMU, he spent time volunteering in an assisted living home for the elderly. Dr. Barton was also a substitute teacher at Cape Henry Collegiate and coached their tennis team. A highlight of his dental education was the dental missionary work he performed in Jamaica.
In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, snow boarding, golf, tennis, volleyball, working out at the gym and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Barton's family includes his wife Dr. Jennifer Barton, who practices as an Orthodonist on the penninsula with her father; his daughter; his son; his parents, Tom and Ann Barton; his sister Kristin Cuthriell; and his brothers Tom and Bob. They all reside in Virginia Beach.
As a dentist, Dr. Barton's goal is to cosmetically create healthy, beautiful smiles by restoring teeth to their proper form and function. He is determined to keep abreast of new dental techniques and innovative technology, such as: implants, Zoom tooth whitening, veneers, all porcelain crowns, the Picasso Laser for soft tissue management and tooth colored fillings. Dr. Barton will provide efficient, high quality care with the utmost regard for his patients' comfort and satisfaction.
