Richard A. Arnaudin, D.D.S.

Dr. Arnaudin received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Medical College of Virginia in 1983.  The following year he completed a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Denver General Hospital.  His undergraduate degree was earned at The College of William and Mary in the early 1970s.  He is a member of the Tidewater Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Virginia Beach Dental Study Club.  He is  past president of the latter.

Dr. Arnaudin was proud to serve as a junior officer in the United States Coast Guard prior to attending dental school.  He worked in environmental protection and search and rescue at Coast Guard Base New Orleans.

Dr. Arnaudin and his wife, Betsy, have three active boys.  They are Ryan, David, and Douglas, and their interests range from lacrosse to baseball, basketball, golf, and body boarding.  Betsy grew up in Virginia Beach and is a graduate of First Colonial High School.

In his spare time, Dr. Arnaudin enjoys gardening, playing golf, staying fit, and going to the beach with his family.  He also takes pleasure in attending his sons' athletic activities.

Preserving and creating healthy, beautiful smiles is what Dr. Arnaudin strives for professionally.  He feels that with modern preventative therapies, tooth brighteners, and excellent tooth-colored restorative materials, a smile that looks great and improves self-esteem is within everyone's reach.
